Privacy Policy
The Junction Pro-Am League app · Effective November 3, 2026
This policy explains what information The Junction Pro-Am League app (on iPhone and on the web) collects, how we use it and who can see it. The app is run by The Junction Pro-Am League LLC ("the league," "we," "us"). We don’t sell your information, we don’t show ads, and the app has no analytics or tracking tools.
Using the app as a fan
You don’t need an account. Following scores, the schedule, stats, video and the feed doesn’t ask for your name, email or location.
A few choices are saved on your phone: your team, the players you follow, your game reminders, and a captain’s team page link if you opened one. They aren’t sent to us unless you turn on push notifications (see Notifications).
Team registration
When a captain registers a team, we collect:
- the team name
- the captain or general manager’s name, cell number, email and Instagram handle
- a second contact, if one is given
- the typed signature, the league policies and waivers agreed to, and the date
League staff then record the date each payment arrives and may add notes. We use this to run the league: to confirm the team, contact the captain, track the team fee and keep a record of what was agreed. Only league staff can see registrations. Staff may copy them into the league’s private Google Sheet, and may text or email captains about payments and league business.
Captain team pages
Each registered team gets a team page that opens with a private link sent to the captain. Anyone with the link can see the team name, the captain’s name, payment status and due dates, and the roster, and can change the roster. Keep the link private. If it was shared by mistake, contact us.
Player waivers
Every player signs a waiver before they play. We collect:
- the player’s name, team, date of birth and cell number, and email if given
- an emergency contact’s name and phone number
- the typed signature and the date
- for players under 18, a parent or guardian’s name and signature
Only league staff can see waivers. So captains and scorekeepers can see who has signed, the app keeps a separate record of each signed waiver with only the player’s name, team and the date signed. Nothing else from the waiver is shown.
Pick’em and fan voting
To play pick’em, you choose a name for the leaderboard. We store that name, your picks and a random code the app makes for your phone. Your name, points and record appear on the public leaderboard. You can remove your pick’em entry any time in the app (Pick’em, then Remove me from Pick’em). League admins can take an inappropriate name off the leaderboard.
When you vote in a poll, we store your choice with a random code for your phone, so each phone votes once. Votes are counted, never shown with a name.
What the league publishes
The app shows what the league posts for everyone: the schedule and scores, team rosters with player names and jersey numbers, player stats and game logs, milestones, power rankings, the awards race and winners, photos and videos from game nights, and Fit of the Night photos. The player waiver includes a media release. If you don’t want your name or photo in the app, email us and we’ll take it down.
Payments
Team fees are paid by Zelle, outside the app. The app shows where to send payment. It doesn’t process payments, and we never see bank or card details through the app. We record only the date each payment arrives.
League staff accounts
League staff (admins and scorekeepers) sign in with an email address and password. Admins add scorekeepers in the app with their name, email and, if given, cell number, so they can sign in and be sent their sign-in details. Only admins can see this list. We use these details only for staff sign-in and league business.
Notifications
Game reminders for your team are scheduled by your phone and aren’t sent to us.
If you turn on push notifications in the iPhone app, we store your phone’s notification token with your team, the players you follow and your notification choices, so we can send the alerts you picked. This record isn’t linked to your name or an account, and only league staff can see it. Notifications are delivered through Expo’s push service and Apple’s Push Notification service.
You can change what you get in the app (More, then Notifications). Turning everything off there deletes your phone’s record, and if you delete the app we delete it the next time we try to send to it. You can also turn notifications off any time in your phone’s Settings.
Services we use
League data, photos and videos are stored with Google Firebase (Google LLC), which also handles staff sign-in. Expo hosts the web version of the app and delivers push notifications. If you play a video, YouTube’s player loads in the app and YouTube’s privacy policy applies. The app links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Apple Maps, Google Maps and the MTA, and their policies apply there. These providers may log technical details such as IP addresses to run and protect their services.
Children and teens
The app is for a general audience and isn’t directed to children under 13. Players under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign their waiver.
How long we keep it
We keep registrations and waivers as long as we need them to run the league and keep league records, then delete them. Pick’em entries and votes stay until you remove them or the league clears them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time. We may need to keep a signed waiver as a record of the agreement.
Your choices
- Email us to see, correct or delete your information.
- Remove your pick’em entry in the app.
- Change or turn off notifications in the app (More, then Notifications), or in your phone’s Settings.
- Ask us to take your name or photo out of the app.
Keeping it safe
Registrations and waivers can only be read by league staff accounts, enforced by the database’s access rules. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t put bank details or other sensitive information in any field.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
